From the first Picnic to the present day...
"Let's have a party where only happy energies flow"
That's how we started organizing daytime parties. Initially on a low budget, but the concept has remained the same ever since. Organizing sunny, all-day parties that start during the day and last into the night in the most special locations, creating the most lasting experiences.
THE BEGINNING...
The three co-founders come from the same place. We knew the area where we lived well, so we were sure that we had to organize a daytime party in Pilis, 20 minutes from Budapest. The first event was held in a vineyard in Pilisborosjenő. This area was extremely unsuitable for organizing a Picnic, but we made the most of the possibilities. The plot was sloping, which descended in stages. However, the panorama was magnificent.
The stage is a small tent, the auditorium is sloping, but the panorama is beautiful. We started from there. It is interesting that we had 3 tents here, in 2023 we needed more than 30 tents.
We were just starting to learn how to organize events, just starting to get a feel for what mistakes needed to be fixed and what it took to provide the best possible quality when Covid appeared and everyone had to stay home.
Endurance: 500 person limit
We could only organize parties with a protection card and up to 500 people. Of course, we failed at the parties, but we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. In the meantime, we had to move to a new place because we had outgrown the previous one.
Reward: The first party over 1000 people
As soon as we were given free rein and could organize the parties with full force, we immediately managed to put together a Big Picnic for 2,000 people. This time again at a new location. At the previous one, we really disturbed the residents with the passing traffic. This Big Picnic had a very special atmosphere. The feeling experienced at the location is indescribable.
The team has been assembled for 2023
2023 is the first year when House Piknik has grown to such an extent that the three-person team could not handle the tasks and we needed additional help. So currently the work of the 3 organizers is supported by two additional teammates who help with background work and communication. In addition to the 5-person organizing base, a 10-person DJ team forms the core of the House Piknik family. We cannot leave without mentioning our other friends who help us overcome difficulties from event to event.
